About us
There is still hope
for unity.
With all the division around us, we believe peace is still possible — by taking God's word as the guide for our lives, and Jesus as our King.
Who we are
A family, not
an institution.
We're a congregation of Christians on Highway 248 in Cassville — farmers and nurses, grandparents and new parents, lifelong students of the word and people who opened a Bible for the first time last year — who worship together every Sunday and carry each other the rest of the week.
We believe that going back to the original — the teachings and practices of the church you read about in the New Testament — can lead to the harmony we all need so much. Not a new church. The first one.
And we believe none of us can do this alone. It takes a family of believers to grow together, to laugh together, to cry together — striving to be the family of God.

The whole point
“If you love Me, keep My commandments.”
John 14:15 — Jesus
That one sentence organizes everything we do. Loving Jesus is not a feeling — it's a life. So the question that drives this church is simple: what did He command, and how do we obey it? Everything else is commentary.
The Bible's own answer
“What must I do to be saved?”
People asked that exact question in the New Testament — and it was answered, every time, in plain words. Not our answer. The Bible's.
Hear the gospel
Romans 10:17
"So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." It starts with honestly listening to what God actually said — not what anyone assumes He said.
Believe in Jesus
Mark 16:16
Believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God — that He died for your sins and rose again. Not a vague feeling; a conviction you stake your life on.
Repent of sin
Acts 2:38 · Luke 13:3
Repentance is a change of heart that turns the whole life around. God "commands all men everywhere to repent" — and He is patient, wanting everyone to come.
Confess Christ
Romans 10:9–10
"If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." Say it out loud, before others.
Be baptized
Acts 2:38 · 1 Peter 3:21
Baptism — a burial in water — is where the Bible puts the washing away of sins and the start of the new life. Every conversion in Acts includes it. It is a command of Jesus Himself.
Walk faithfully
Revelation 2:10
"Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life." Obedience is not a moment — it is a life walked with the Lord, in His church, until He comes.

Who you'll meet
Who you'll meet.
Aaron Newman
Evangelist
Aaron preaches here every Lord’s day and spends the rest of the week doing the same thing one conversation at a time — Bible studies at kitchen tables, questions over coffee, a hand on the shoulder when someone needs it. Call or text him directly; he means it when he says he’d love to study with you.
For the investigators
Twelve reasons to investigate the New Testament church.
Don't take our word for any of this — that's the whole point. Take the verses, open your own Bible, and check us. Every claim here stands or falls on Scripture alone.
